College. The best and worst four years of one's life. There is no perfect way to describe the journey we all take in college. Everyone has a different experience.
Browsing through YouTube instead of writing an essay, I always find myself watching a Jenna Marbles video or two. She just gets my and many other people's sick and cruel humor. Even my mother enjoys her pointless videos. So here is how I describe college, with a little bit of help from Jenna.
The first thing we all have to do is pack and unpack constantly. We have this tendency to leave it all until the twelve hours before we come back to college.
But, of course, females pack everything.
I need it all.
Driving to school can take anywhere from 45 minutes to 24 hours for some people. Regardless, we don't wanna do it.
And we forget stuff all the time. You're lying if you've never forgotten something.
Once all that boring unpacking is done, it's time to visit your awesome college friends and party before classes start.
The excitement is real.
Ah, the alcohol. This is just a part of the average college student's diet. It's probably the best pastime, and it comes with a lot of memories, good and bad.
Or no memories at all.
Then, the classes begin, and it all just goes down from there. You question everything — literally everything. It's a never-ending cycle of torture for a piece of paper.
More alcohol may or may not be involved.
There's the infamous all-nighters we spend studying for classes that don't help us out in the future, but are required for our degree.
Coffee. Lots and lots of coffee.
Then, when we finish the week of classes, we either go out to the bars or to parties, and attempt to find our future soul mates by flirting with drinks.
Is this how it works?
When we wake up the next morning, which is usually Sunday, a day when we save all of our work, we most likely don't feel too hot if we drank the night before.
The struggle.
Then, we go back to the college crisis and the thought of dropping out.
This is how I handle it.
But, then we think about staying in shape, and that's a struggle in and of itself.
Lol, jk.
The college cycle doesn't really change, so you might as well embrace it now and accept the remaining years you have at an awesome university.
Just don't worry so much about the future yet.
