So, before I begin I want to say that I liked suicide Squad as a movie. however, before I decided to go and watch the movie I chose not to look into reviews and people's opinions on the internet before doing so. Most of my likes and dislikes of the film are my own and how I viewed it so if you are up for a complete unbiased mindset of the film continue reading if you are a butt hurt person of this film you may want to pass and go get some ice cream forest! Also, I try not to mention spoilers but I may give out little hints so regardless SPOILERS!
Characters
In Suicide Squad you are treated to a lot of great characters, this is most likely the biggest and strongest point of the film is the casting. From Captain boomerang all the way to Dead-shot I felt the actors portrayed a great representation of the characters. Most of the characters of the squad felt strong in what they brought to the team with other than a few mainly Katana, Enchantress, and Killer Croc since I felt they didn't offer much other than a brute, a story point , and an awesome Female respectively. when it came to the other characters other obviously stole the show with dead-shot being the biggest show stealer and second with Harley Quin. I will say I felt conflicted since they knew she would be a huge favorite since she is the spoon to Joker's pudding, I felt they catered too much to her in all honesty. The Joker was a great example of a Golden age Joker since he was shown as more of a Gangster/Mobster he came of insane but in control, some may think how he took so much time in trying to get Harley back as a character flaw but as shown at the start of the movie he still has the abusive relationship with her that we all know and love (to an extent). Being subjective also since he is the first Joker since Heath Ledger he had a hard time filling his shoes, not to mention its the Joker too.The character who made the most impact, in my opinion, is Diablo his character had so much depth that I fell in love with him over the film and credit him with the best character reward of the film. I loved Captain Boomerang as a character but was upset by the lack of his important other than the comedy relief that didn't make jokes. All together I felt the cast did a good job but some of the acting could have been better throughout.

Story
This is the lowest of the film in my opinion but mainly for two reasons. the first being the character diversity since there were so many characters to introduce and show it and this forced a little to much time in my opinion. This could of not have been as bad if the film picked its battles since the whole film was based on how they have to work together to overcome this evil. Since the run time was what it was it does not surprise me they gave it such a simple plot but even with a simple plot they could have done a better job of explaining motives and filling in the audience with what was important. The second thing that mad this film suffer was the complete simplicity of the film as mention before. Since the characters took so long to get introduced the story was given and not explain and the whole time watching the movie I thought they were going to take out the villain only to find out the original mission was to rescue a person, sloppy if I am being truthful. Altogether the story made it hard to follow and gave no real sense of important, side note: where was batman or other superheroes during this? On vacation?

Final thoughts and verdict
The film was fine, no it is no Christopher Nolan batman but why would it? People have gotten so use to Marvel films releasing all these solo films to explain and give deep plot that when DC decides to make its first collective film people are expecting the same. If you go into suicide squad wanting Avenger's you will be disappointed but if you walk in just wanting to see a new perspective on a world from the villain's eyes this is a fun movie. The things that save this movie are the characters, mainly Diablo since he is such a well flushed out character. The weakest part was the story which may be more important if the characters didn't matter more in films like this. If you have a vendetta against this film because it didn't match your standard, stop there is no need for so much hate. this film is not bad and you need to grow up and get over your self-pride kid.
