Topshop. The best secret ever is that you can save 10 percent off Topshop online!  

Honorable mentions. Fifteen percent off at Banana Republic, 10 percent off Charlotte Russe, TOMS gives free shipping to students and -- according to some students -- Kate Spade gives a 15 percent discount with your student ID. 

Food

Chipotle. Next time you are satisfying your Chipotle craving, use your student ID to get a free drink!  

McDonald's. At most locations you can use your Student ID to get 10 percent off your purchase.

Pizza Hut. Show your Student ID and get 10 to 20 percent off your next pizza.

Subway. At some Subway locations you can show your student ID and get 10 percent off.

Honorable mentions: Amazon has two-day student shipping for six months. Most newspapers offer student discounted rates. For example, theThe New York Times and The Wall Street Journal have student discounts, and Barnes & Noble also offers discounts on new and used textbooks, and textbook rentals.

Most places do not advertise, if they have student discounts, so be sure to ask when you are paying. You may be happily surprised!
