Let's face it, every girl in college struggles when it comes to getting ready for a night out and it's completely normal. Wanting to look OK is definitely a must, but sometimes some roadblocks get in the way.
1. "Where should we go?"
Deciding where to go is the hardest part of planning your night. Wanting to go where "everyone is going" is usually the main focus, but sometimes getting that information isn't very easy.
2. "I have nothing to wear."
Trying not to be an "outfit repeater" is very stressful and can impact your mood significantly. Realizing "you have no clothes" even when you have a full closet can make getting ready a real pain in the ass.
3. "Does this outfit make me look fat?"
After hours of looking for the right outfit, it's necessary to ask your friends how you look and if you need to change. Even though you are far from looking fat, the question needs to be asked just for clarification.
4. "What should I drink?"
Deciding what to drink for the night is a real struggle. Beer guts aren't attractive, but wine hangovers are the WORST. Even though you need to question yourself weekend after weekend, the normal vodka soda is always your answer.
5. "I wonder if I'll see him..."
The best part about going out is seeing your crush. Even though half the time you don't even speak to him, seeing him at the bar is just enough, and a simple "hello" makes your entire night. Trying to find out where "he's" going is necessary for outfit planning and shots consumed.
6. "How are we getting there?"
Designating a DD is often awkward and the most common weekend problem. Taxis are expensive but finding a friend to drop you off and pick you up is a struggle. After 30 minutes of texting everyone in your contact list, finding the ride is a weight off your shoulders.
7. "I'm over this. Can we get pizza?"
Even though the events leading up to going out are often stressful and time-consuming, after about 2 hours at the bar, it's obviously time to indulge. Pizza seems to be the best after bar snack and the only food that will turn anyone's night around.
