Saying "I have a back tattoo" sounds cool, and when people ask if you recommend it remind them of the 10 simple struggles you faced when your tat was finished.
1. It looks dope, but the pain in certain spots of your back is from hell. Especially the spine.
2. If you're female, not wearing a shirt isn't an option so free the tata's cause wearing a bra won't help the healing process.
3. Treating your newest tattoo with ointment and creams is hard considering you can't lay, sit, or wear anything until it dries.
4. What even is comfortable sleep anymore? Face down in your pillow you go.
5. You spent a lot of money on it and don't even get to see it unless it's in a mirror.
6. Twisting your body to view your tat in the mirror convinces you that it's off-centered completely
7. Half the time you forget you have it.
8. When it's healing and itches, your entire back feels like tiny bugs are crawling on you.
9. Even worse, you can't ever reach it to scratch it.
10. Finding a shirt to show it off is nearly impossible.
Long story short, you'll cringe when the needle digs into your bones, and you'll groan when you can't sit down or sleep normal because it is trying to heal, but it will be the coolest freaking thing on your body and you'll make a dozen excuses to show it off.
