Is it hard for you to get in the college swing?

Are you financially stable?

Well let me tell you college is way different from high school. College is all on you, you may no longer have your parents to help you with your money. You go from being a teen to being an adult having to pay for your own things plus college. It gets to be hard but if you put your faith to it you will surely shine. There is just 4 simple steps to help you strive your freshmen year.

1. Make sure you make your schedule to were you can handle college and work at the same time.

With this being said make sure your job will work around your classes if you do not get a job on campus. All jobs should understand that you are going to college an working.

2. Go out of your way to make new friends

Going to a college campus where there is no one you know, can make down on yourself , if you just go to class and back to your dorm every day. You don't have to be the typical college party person, but if you join a few groups and make a little click then you will have a memory worth saving. You don't have to be in the party click to have a fun time at college just stay true to yourself.

3. Make sure that all of your college expenses are taken care of.

By saying this, make sure that you surely get as many scholarships as possible. Then try your hardest to not get student loans. Those things are awful and could take forever to pay back. If you can't pay for college all at once to go find help to arrange payment plans so you're not worried about money and can focus on your education.

4. Pick the major that you know will make you happy.

Do not pick a major because someone told you you will be best at this one. Do what you set your heart to, but if you do a major that you do not like then you will surely be down and unhappy. So with this you can make a bang with any major, but the one that fits you best will make you succeed greatly in the world.

Something important to note is to take the ACT very seriously because the better your test results are, the better off you will be in college.Keep this in mind while getting ready for college. You will be stressed in this process, but know that if you have faith you will be lifted up an will do great things. Good luck!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
