Picking a college major can be one of the biggest challenges a student will face. Many people switch majors multiple times and occasionally end up in a field they never expected. College majors often relate to a person's interests, but also their personality.
"Stranger Things" became a huge hit for Netflix when it came out, and through the two seasons produced, the characters have grown and shown their true personalities. While picking a college major is not as hard as fighting off a Demogorgon, it can feel like an adventure into the Upside Down. Instead of dreading picking a major like you're entering Hawkins lab, here are the main characters as college majors. Also spoilers alert!
Will Byers: Architecture
Will Byers disappears at the beginning of the show, pops up a few times in the middle and comes back in the end much like Architecture students. They are trapped in Studio creating models for days and maybe show up a few times in the term to hang. However, many, like Will, have mad art skills vital to creating good models.
Joyce Byers: Philosophy
While most of us just see a strand of lights, like any good philosopher Joyce has the ability to see past the physical and into the metaphorical to uncover what we never could. Nancy Wheeler: Law
Driven to discover the truth about Barbra and to bring Barb's family closure, Nancy will do whatever it takes to find justice for her friend. No matter the risks or obstacles, Nancy will not rest till she has all answers and delivers justice where justice is due. Nancy does not let anyone else tell her what to do.

While he may come off a bit like a stalker at first, Jonathan is skilled with a camera and loves to photograph what he sees. Jonathan has a knack for looking at the world differently. From his photographic skills to his love for music, Jonathan would fit in at any arts school.
Steve Harrington: Family/Human Services
As Steve stated in the second season, he is a good babysitter. As his character develops, it is clear he has a knack for taking care of people and keeping them safe. Steve will fight to defend those he cares about, and he has a weird ability to connect with people of any age. Like any good mentor, Steve knows when it counts to be there for a person.
