As a girl, I sit here and over analyze every situation I have ever had with a boy. Whether its a pointless interaction in a coffee line, a first date, or the worst breakup I've ever had, I over think every aspect of it.

Girls calculate every situation that could occur and base their decisions on how they think the boy might react. It's something we have mastered and when the boys don't follow the script it either makes us wanna strangle them or push them into the closest closet for a steamy make out.

But what happens when we don't choose the calculated boy, the nice boy who you know would be great and says all the right things? What happens when we choose the boy we haven't given any thought to and we just go with it?

The boy who pisses you off so much you wanna scream but you refuse to give him the time of day to do so. The boy who you know you like but don't put forth the effort to care when he's with another girl.

This is when you become the best you that you can be, this is when a girl has reached the "I know I can find a better you" feeling and man does it feel great.

College is great because its the perfect time for carefree flings, it's a time to tell the hot boy at the party you need another drink or the cute boy in English that you really don't understand and need a tutor. (We all know you get it far better than he does, hell your an English major.)

Now is the time to stop planning for the perfect situations and go with what happens in your life. So instead of taking your love life by the reins, just ride freely for a while.

Don't go searching for the perfect boy, with the perfect future, who would make the perfect dad because, in all honesty, a ring on your left hand in the next five years scares the hell out of you.

Go for the boy you think you don't have a chance with and see what happens. Because in the end, it doesn't matter if he was Mr.Right or Mr.Wrong at least you shot your shot.
