Since its introduction, Juul vaporizers have become the alternate (but not safer) solution to quitting cigarettes. Vapes are causing nothing but physical and mental problems for teens and young adults across the nation. It is suggested that anyone using a Juul because they are thinking about quitting smoking needs to consider another option. Reports have shown that vaping results in many health problems, and the Juul, which resemble USB drives (since floppy disks are no longer popular) is the most addictive vaporizer among them all.
In case anyone was unaware, the Juul was created by two Stanford University graduates (and former cigarette addicts) whose education went towards developing a new product that causes health concerns in teenagers and adults. These two disgraceful, greedy individuals designed this tool (that literally takes your breath away) because they thought the answer to "improving" the lives of a billion adult smokers is replacing e-cigarettes with a modern way that gives people health issues. The company makes it clear to their target audience and the world just how evil and corrupt they are. Their Juul Calculator allows people to check how much they would save on cigarettes by purchasing their product, which further shows that the company only cares about money instead of the health of teens and adults.
The company that makes them, Juul Labs, Inc., which is owned by Altria, is a disgusting and controversial business. By giving their products a shiny appearance and making the pods simple to use, they are able to sell more to teenagers. The Juul is different than other e-cigarettes because they are easier to hide and can be recharged on a wall charger or laptop. The amount of vapor released in the air is lower, but the level of damage it causes is higher.
People who are addicted to smoking need to realize that help is available. According to the National Center for Health Research, the Juul ranks at 68% of e-cigarettes sold which is a $2 billion dollar market. The cartridges of the Juul come in flavors like creme brulee, fruit medley, and cool mint (which you can also get as ice cream flavors and does not require smoking), and is the reason kids and adults want to use them. Juul juice contains the same ingredients as nicotine salt even though the company mixes a certain blend. Vapers will not experience the same effects as tobacco smoking, but using them, along with other electronic cigarettes, will make teens want to try or go back to regular cigarettes as their addiction to nicotine increases over time. The consequences of using a Juul is the addictive nicotine inside of them (twice the amount of other e-cigarettes) and the effect that it has on a person's brain and lungs. E-cigarettes causes problems such as lung injury and irritation of the mouth and throat.
Juul Labs, Inc. got into trouble with the FDA for violating regulations by making false medical claims. According to CNN, the company promised users that their product was safer than regular cigarettes and would help those addicted with quitting smoking. Anyone who uses a Juul is just inhaling nicotine from a device that will not explode like a regular e-cigarette. Although the FDA investigated the sale of electronic cigarettes to underage teens, the company keeps selling their futuristic cancer-sticks by referring to them as the "iPhone of vaporizers" to further attract young customers.
It was reported that three individuals have died from illnesses related to vaping, and more children and teens will continue to become sick if they keep getting access to a Juul or any cigarette. If you are a non-smoker then it is best not to start, and for those that are addicted, try to find other ways to quit. E-cigarettes are just a scam to get your money and give you long-term health concerns. Go to rehab, take a walk, read a book, or eat some candy, just stop purchasing regular and electronic cigarettes.
