For bookworms, there is no better store than Barnes & Noble. Personally, I am no stranger to the gravitational pull that place has on readers such as myself. I mean, what's better than an entire room full of books at your own disposal? Not to mention it always smells fantastic in that place. Trust me - there is no better combination than the smell of books and coffee. I think what truly makes B&N special, is that it's a room full of stories. Thousands of books, each with a different world to immerse yourself in. The possibilities are literally endless. This, is partially what makes my Barnes & Noble trips so adventurous and also dangerous at the same time. Here is a step by step look into how my trips to this wonderful place usually go.

1. I pull into the parking lot with ONE - I repeat - ONE book in mind. All I need is one, not two, three, or five for that matter.

2. I walk towards the doors with a look of determination on my face. I will stick to the game plan no matter what.

3. I walk in and I am immediately hit with a smell so delightful that you must stop and take it all in. (Like I mentioned earlier - nothing better than books and coffee)

4. At this point, temptation has not gotten the best of me yet. I eye the young adult section and begin to take steps in that direction - keeping my eye on the prize.

5. Then, all of a sudden the New Releases section catches my eye and hope begins to slip.

6. *gasp* I DIDN'T KNOW THAT BOOK WAS OUT YET

7. I grab this newly discovered book and hold it Lion King style. A single tear begins to fall down my cheek at how beautiful the cover is.

8. Surely buying just one extra book won't hurt.

9. My plan has already failed before I even made it to my destination. Why must I have zero self control?

10. I finally see the book I am after and quickly pick it up

11. But wait - if I read it quickly then I am going to be stuck without books two and three for at least a week.

12. Should I buy those too?

13. I should.

14. NO YOU TOLD YOURSELF TO ONLY BUY ONE

15. But if I plan on reading the next two books eventually, why not just buy them now?

16. Sounds reasonable.

17. There goes my perfect game plan

18. So what began as one book has now turned into four. But hey - two of the four were in paperback so that makes it okay right? Yeah?

19. I leave the store happy and guilt free with four beautiful books in my hands

20. Well, until I check my bank account.

21. Next time I'll just get one book.

Yeah, like that's going to happen. So maybe I have zero self control when it comes to buying books at Barnes & Noble. But you know what? I could think of worse habits to have. Besides, you can NEVER have too many books. So keep on buying my friends, and always remember this: Barnes & Noble never disappoints.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
