so bestie #1 starts their dream career after school.

bff #3 gets promoted at their current job. Also, they are recently engaged!

bff #2 gets a raise, new car, AND books a flight to Spain just because.

what about you? not saying your jealous (because you aren't and shouldn't be) but when is YOUR time?

all of the sudden, you feel left out because you wonder if anything "big" will happen to you.

guess what. it's coming!!

one thing people have to remember is what is YOURS will never be taken away from you. your dream Is YOURS.

trust God's plan.

just like those same friends had to wait for the exact moments, you will too! It doesn't matter the turn around time for them, all that matters is that the time came, which it will do for you! Whether you finished college at 22 or 32, your destiny will always be waiting for you.

you can't put a timer on your success. as long as you put in work behind the work (which may even seem exhausting at first) your work won't go unnoticed.

but you must take a chance.

for me specifically, I was always excited to hear my friends announce big moves, career advancements, family news, or even personal life. I have to admit I would sometimes think, will this ever happen for me? or will I always be the friend on the sidelines, never making it to the court?

I had to stop myself from thinking that way. I had to learn that whatever you put your mind to, you CAN do!

so to whoever may be reading this, you are the author to your life. Not your friends, your mother, kids, boss, boo, NO ONE.

this is your life, enjoy it while you still have the chance. do all you can to reach your dreams and realize nothing comes overnight, good things take time and patience.
