Let's talk about staying in your lane.

White people thinking they can understand my pain.

Watch my people suffer and others die in vane.

Living in a world driving my people insane.

How dare you seek to be the victim of a crime that you've committed?

My words are silenced because you demand to be forgiven.

Forgiven for a crime you continue to this day.

Claiming all lives matter, but you refuse to listen to what we have to say.

Claiming all lives matter, but your cops kill my people.

You mock our tears, then claim we are equal.

You want our culture, our women, and our men.

I refuse to give you our pride, our soul, even if we fail to win.

I am a proud black man, and I will never change.

You can keep your false promises, and just stay in your lane.

Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
