This One Statement Could Change Your Life Forever

One day I was scrolling through Twitter and I found a tweet that changed my life forever.

The first time you read that statement, it probably doesn't mean much... but after you read it for a second or third time, you realize that it is the key to happiness.

To all of my readers struggling with something in life: Whether it's heartbreak, school, work, money, or hope in general... this is a statement that you should live by.

Depression and sadness aren't things that are easy to overcome... but if you dig down deep inside of yourself, and you try to sincerely enjoy daily activities in life; that is how you become successful and overcome hardships.

Instead of complaining about going to work because you are tired, get up and have the mindset that you are going to be better than you were yesterday-- even though you didn't get a sufficient amount of sleep. This will build your character.

If you are having a bad day, try buying some flowers and giving them to someone at school. Making other peoples days can easily make your day. You never know what someone is struggling with, so find the beauty in everyday life by doing things like this.

If you're lacking self-health, take a night to yourself. Do something that is freeing and good for your soul. Turn your phone off and disconnect for a while. While you're doing this, reflect on the things that you're entirely blessed with. After the fact, you will feel rejuvenated and better about life in general.

Taking the time to do these small things, as well as looking at the good in every situation is what makes someone a special person. If you can do this and see the best in everyone and everything in life, you will undoubtedly be happier and healthier.

So take a chance and make a change... it may seem hard now, but it will pay off in the end.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
