Ever wondered what Stars Hollow would be like if it took place at Hogwarts? Well good news! I appointed myself Sorting Hat for a day and sorted some of our favorite characters into their Hogwarts house!

According to Pottermore, Hufflepuffs value hard work, patience, loyalty, and fair play.

Lane

Loyal to Rory, patient with the band (to the best of her ability), and hard working.

Sookie and Jackson

Jackson values loyalty so much that when Rory wanted to make the biggest pizza ever, he was offended she didn't come to him for the vegetables.

Pottermore says that Ravenclaws prize wit, learning, and wisdom.

Rory

This seems obvious as Rory loves learning, has her mother's wit, and values her grandfather's wisdom.

Paris

A classic stress-aholic when it comes to school, Paris has the wit and wisdom of a true Ravenclaw.

Jess

Witty, smart, and bonus, charming. Jess is Ravenclaw through and through.

Yes, even Stars Hallow has some. Slytherins are said to be proud, ambitious and cunning, resourceful, shrewd, and determined.

Logan

A sort of Draco Malfoy if you will.

Emily

Mrs. Emily GIlmore fits the definition of Slytherin to a T. She is cunning, determined, and resourceful.

Taylor

Loves his town to a fault, that fault is he has to get his way. A typical determined Syltherin.

Michel

If you can't decide for yourself why he's a Slytherin then you should rewatch Gilmore Girls. (Or just rewatch it anyways since it's awesome.)

Brave, courageous, chivalrous, daring, bold, determined. Stars Hollow has a few of these.

Lorelai and Luke

Luke, the ever chivalrous and courageous man. Lorelai, the bold and determined to get her way.

Mrs. Kim

She is the definition of a Gryffindor.

Richard

A brilliantly wise man who loves to learn and will defend his family at all costs.

Honorable mentions

Dean, poor boy never got his letter.

Christopher: Hufflepuff, but dropped out after a few years as a revolt against authority. Typical, right?

Doyle: Hufflepuff.

Kirk: Hufflepuff.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

StableDiffusion

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
