The air is getting cooler, the sun is setting earlier and the sweaters are coming out; fall is upon us.
Or as I like to call it, pumpkin season.
Pumpkin is the type of thing that you either love or hate. I just so happen to fall into the category of people who go to Starbucks the day pumpkin returns.
After years of ordering the infamous Pumpkin Spice Latte, I wanted to try something new this year. That's when I discovered the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, a cold brew sweetened with vanilla syrup, and topped with pumpkin cream cold foam and pumpkin spice.
The Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew was released in 2019, and the drink made it's return this year after gaining popularity. All I can say is that I wish I tried it sooner.
I ordered the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew for the first time on a morning when I was particularly tired after waking up for my 9 a.m. class. I kept the default recipe, except I swapped out the vanilla syrup for sugar free vanilla.
I wasn't sure what to expect since I altered the recipe, but on the first sip I knew I found my new favorite drink. The combination of the vanilla flavor and the pumpkin cream foam was EVERYTHING.
I have yet to try the drink with regular vanilla syrup, but I plan to do so on my next trip to Starbucks.
If you've made it this far, this is your sign to go to Starbucks and order the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew. Why miss out on something great?
