Homework, midterms, or finals bringing you down? As someone who has suffered from chronic procrastination throughout their entire academic life while still striving to be a straight A student, the struggle is real. However much you try not to procrastinate, it always comes to these 12 stages before you can even start working.
1. It always starts off with, “I can do this later.”
2. This is followed by pulling up several random tabs on your laptop to keep busy.
3. How can you feel guilty about this? You are learning new things anyway.
4. You see a text pop up and next thing you know, you are looking through ALL of your social media.
5. After a while you are bored. And hungry. You take a break to eat a quick snack.
6. This is followed by cleaning everything. How can you possibly work in a filthy environment anyway?
7. You accidentally glance at the clock then ignore it.
8. You decide to finish going through all of your open tabs on your laptop to feel a sad sense of accomplishment.
It makes sense if you do not think about it.
