Whether it's writing an article for your school newspaper, or prepping for your final paper, the stages of writing can be detrimental to the brain. With the help of the Kardashian's, I have created a list of the very stressful and satisfying stages of writing.

When you first sit down with your laptop, ready to brainstorm...


But nothing comes to you so you turn to social media for help (and tell your friends to look for some inspo for you, too)...

And finally someone chimes in with some not-so-thought-out idea...

Then the stress takes over so you can't help, but put down everyone else's ideas...


Finally turning to the clock and realizing that the deadline is in 15 minutes and you haven't even started...


So you continue to do nothing..


Then someone suggests you create a listicle...

And finally, when you come up with a decent topic...


And when you complete the assignment...

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines.
