It’s that time of year again! Everyone’s favorite… registering for classes! Does anyone really like doing this? No. But it’s part of being a college student, and we have to do it twice a year! It can feel like the Hunger Games from time to time, but it eventually works out how it’s supposed to. And, it is pretty nice to have complete free reign of your own schedule.
1. Looking at all of the classes you have to take and becoming extremely overwhelmed
When you hear everyone talking about the classes they’ve already gotten in to, and you have that brief moment of panic. It’ll all work out in the end!... Right?
2. Being super organized and planning out all of your possible schedules
… And then figuring out they’re all full. When you have 5 days longer than all of your friends to wait and register, you might as well sketch out your plan B and C!
3. Finally getting to register
You’re on your laptop right when your time slot opens and you are super prepared to get the classes you want! You may or may not pray that you get the ones you want… and you may or may not be on your laptop registering in the middle of class or a presentation.
4. Panicking when a few of the classes you wanted to take are full
How can that many people want to take a class every day of the week from 9-10:15?! The struggle is so real…
5. Fighting for the last spot in a class
When registering for a class feels like you’re fighting to the death in the Hunger Games. Especially when it’s a class that you need desperately!
6. Finally submitting your classes... and then going back and changing a few
It takes a few tries before you are somewhat happy with your schedule. You may end up with an 8am or two, but that’s just college.
Good luck, and happy registering!
