As many of you One Direction fans already know, Harry Styles has chosen to take a different path, leaving 1D completely.
A quick run-down of the situation:
Recently, One Direction has taken a hiatus. Harry Styles, member of 1D, signs as a solo artist to Creative Artist Agency (CAA) with Jeffery Azoff on Monday, February first. Modest Management, Styles' previous management, wishes him well.
Directioners might experience the following symptoms of grievances...
Becoming overwhelmed with sad emotions
A song might come on the radio, a tweet might pop up with the group's picture and you are reminded of the absence that Harry left. Tears brim over your eyes and run down your cheeks, what will you do without them? It is a roller-coaster of emotional breakdowns and you don't know if they will ever end. Your face resembles something like the following.
The flashback
Your Spotify is filled with old 1D songs and you're streaming all their old music videos like they're brand new again. You're reminiscing on all the old times with the endless concerts and screams when you saw them live. Otherwise known as the good old days. It feels like you are stuck in the past.
Acceptance
You have come to the conclusion that though things might never go back to the way they were, you've come to the point where it feels like things will be okay. The sadness has almost completely dissipated and you've accepted this fate.
A brighter horizon is coming your way
This disaster has definitely had its downs but you finally realize that though Harry left, this isn't an end for his career. His announcement is that he will be releasing new music as a solo artist within the next year. Despite 1D's tragic loss, the upside is that Harry will be providing the world with some wonderful new music. A reason to jump for joy!
Don't cry Directioners, there is always an upside!
