Spring break in university is an especially sacred time. But the same thing happens every year: it comes, it goes, and you didn’t even see it go by. No matter how meticulously you plan it, those precious few days always end up being a blur that leave you more exhausted than you were before (or not, if you’re lucky, I guess). Here are the 6 stages of spring break:
1. Anticipation
Beginning about 2 weeks before, you start planning all the things. The excitement is real.2. The Friday before
Waiting. For. Class. To. End.3. Saturday
You can take some time off right? You worked hard to get here.
4. Wednesday
Still procrastinating...
5. Friday
Picture this: you’re hungover. It’s a nasty one. There are no other priorities.6. Sunday night
Shit. You got absolutely nothing done. Hey, you’ll survive, right? And just like that, it's all over. The semester may seem bleak and never-ending from where you're standing, but just think: two more months until summer break! *cue the countdown*
