As anyone who as ever taken one will tell you, AP Exams are one of the most stressful times of the years. As a current high school junior, I decided that it would be a fantastic idea to take 2 AP courses, but 3 AP exams. Invigorating, right?! Little did I know how stressful AP Exams really were until the final days of April began to rapidly approach. As I sit here, probably with tears in my eyes thinking about my AP United States History Exam tomorrow, I'd thought I share what the stages of somebody who is taking an AP Exam goes through with a series of the hit reality show Big Brother Britney Haynes gifs. Enjoy!
1. Taking the course
"Remember, this is a college course. You need to prepare ahead of time for the exam. You can't cram all the information in the night before."
2. Thinking about preparing for the exam
Whose idea was it to test us on a years worth of material again?
3. Convincing yourself that you're going to start studying
Okay, 5 minutes. I got this.
4. Distracting yourself from studying
Spontaneous dance party!!!!
5. Realizing it's the night before and you haven't started studying yet...
Well, this sucks. I'm going to get a 1 and I'm not going to college.
6. When you see the first question on the exam
Ah, the infamous looking around and saying "when did we learn this?"
7. Realizing how much time is left
Look, I finished the entire exam in an hour, meaning I failed. Can I please go now?
8. Leaving the exam room like
Peace out AP Exam. You were terrible.
9. "That exam was a piece of cake!"
I just spent 4 hours failing a test... please back away
10. Realizing you're friend got a 5 on the exam
This is one is kinda obvious...
11. But when it's all said and done, all you can really do is look back and laugh
So, to anyone taking an AP Exam out, good luck, you got this, and bringing tissues may be helpful!
