It's that time of year where a bunch of your friends get together to dress up for Halloween and you go around the neighborhood doing fun activities. You and your friends may have different ideas for what you want to be, but wouldn't it be cool if you got together to be dressed up as a similar theme? This where the idea of dressing up in costumes with you and your "squad" comes in because it may be fun if your friends ran around the same theme to do a group costume. If you are stuck on some ideas that you may have, here are some suggestions that you can look off on to get some inspiration.

1. Suicide Squad

One of the most popular Halloween costume choices for this year is for sure going to be dressing up as characters from the movie, Suicide Squad. I have seen a lot of people already planning out their costumes for Harley Quinn, the Joker, Kitana, Deadshot and a bunch of the other characters. I would be even cooler if you got a bunch of your friends together and you dressed up as the entire suicide squad. Have some of your guy friends be some of the characters while the girls may try to figure out who get to be who because of the popular choices for them.

2. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

This squad costume is very easy to put together and it is fairly easy to find the people to do it with. All you need is three of your best friends and you just need to figure out which one of the ninja turtles each one of you is going to be. I plan to be one of the ninja turtles this year, specifically Donatello, and there's a good chance one of my friends is going to be Leonardo. If we can get two more people to be the other two turtles, I think that will just be amazing. If not, then it's not that much of a big deal to me but I'm sure you can figure it our for yourselves too.

3. Pokemon Go Trainers

If you and your friends love the mobile game, Pokemon Go, as much as me and my friends do, then you guys can team up together to catch them all. Being dressed up like the Pokemon Go trainer characters from the game is a fun way to not only show love for your favorite mobile game, but it's also to show how your squad can stick together to catch them all. There are may ways that one can customize their character in the game, which gives you and your friends different ideas as to how you can create your costume. When you all get together to show off your style, it really does create the allusion that Pokemon trainers can stick together, no matter what team they are on.

3. Cards

There are four suites in a deck of cards: hearts, clubs, clovers and spades. This gives a great idea for a DIY costume that one and their friends can be one of the types of cards in the suite. For example, one person can be the queen of hearts, the other one can be the ace of spades and so on. I have seen several variations of this squad costume idea and it looks really nice when the other three people join you so you can all be a representation of the types of suites that are in a normal deck of cards.

4. Powerpuff Girls

This is a good idea for two of your other friends if you guys are big fans of the classic television show. It's easy for you guys to find blue, pink and green dresses and it is also fairly easy to find the accessories used. For Blossom, it would be the red bow that she has in her hair and it's also easy to create Bubbles' pig tails for her hair. When you three get together, it'll create a lovely image of the characters becoming alive once again for this holiday.

5. The Wizard of Oz

A new take on the classic film can be made possible with a few little articles of clothing and some accessories to go with it. It's easy to find costumes for this type of group costume because you can virtually buy them at any costume store. If you don't have the money to actually buy the proper costume, then it's easy to find the proper materials for you to make the costume yourself. Once your have your costumes together, you all can walk down the yellow brick road together and remind people of a classic film that is still relevant up to this day.

These are some of the few ideas that I have in mind, but there are a bunch of other possibilities for what kind of group costumes you and your friends can do. With a little bit of creativity and some time, it seems like it's not that much of a challenge for your friends to get together to create a squad costume idea. There are many films and television shows that you can base off your group costume idea from and it's not that hard to get it done as long as you the time, money and creativity to have fun with your friends this Halloween

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
