After this last week with sunshine and temperatures in the 70s it's obvious that spring is here. We all know that spring brings sunshine, beautiful weather, and tons of opportunities to be outdoors, but it also bring one other thing -- formal season. With formal season no longer right around the corner, it's time to start thinking about coolers. While some of us may love everything about cooler painting, others may dread the site of a cooler after one too many battles with one (we've all been there). If this is you, or your date has requested something other than the typical cooler, or maybe you waited a bit too long to get started, (guilty), I've got a few alternatives for you.
Flasks.
Flasks are super easy to get your hands on and a much smaller space to sand and prep. A flask should take you less than half the time to complete than a full size cooler would, and it still serves the most important purpose: holding alcohol.
Bubba keg.
A bubba keg is another great option. Just like a flask, they won't take nearly as much time and effort as the typical cooler, but they still look fantastic. You have the option of option of painting parts of it, or even the entire thing and bubba keg's come in a variety of colors and sizes, are fairly inexpensive. What more could you want?
Alcohol bouquet.
Alcohol bouquets are a little different than a flask or bubba keg. There is no painting involved, but you can still be a little crafty with how you decorate the base and arrange what is in it. All you need to do is pick up some mini bottles of alcohol and then one or two full sized bottles of his favorite type of mini that you used and you are all set. This is perfect for someone who needs something super last minute, but it is still thoughtful and able to be personalized to fit your date.
