I have always been a huge fan of cooking anything, even if I hate the food. Gotta say, Chef Des is the best in town. But seriously who doesn't love food? I know I can eat like a grown man. Food and I fit together like Batman and Robin, peanut butter and jelly, magnet and fridge...you get the point here, right? Anyways, here are some recipes I have cooked or found online that sounded good!
Chicken:
1. Chicken & Cheese Lasagna Roll-Ups
If you love to get your hands messy in the kitchen, this one is a go-to! I came across this one night and honestly haven't ever made something so good in my life.
I actually found this one on Kevin Jonas wife's page a few years back. My mom and I tag-team this recipe every once in awhile. The sweetness is just mouth watering.
All my bacon lovers out there, this is amazing! That is all that needs to be said with this.
Hamburger:
No one's chili beats my momma's, of course...don't even try it, you won't win.
5. Meatloaf
Meatloaf isn't my favorite, but everyone has different taste buds. I just really don't care for hamburger...#sorrynotsorry
6. Soft Tacos
I love tacos in general, but the best ones are my momma's by far.
Pork:
If you love food from the south, this is all you. Make some corn bread (add a little sugar, so it can be a little sweet) with it.
OK, seriously, if you aren't a fan of pork chops and stuffing, you must have been dropped when you were little...they are amazing.
Like I said above, you were dropped when you were little.
Beef:
10. Home style Stew (Beef roast)
Back at it again with the southern food.
FAVORITE FOOD OF ALL TIME!
12. Carne' Asada
Thanks to my aunt who blessed my life with this food...could eat this all the time!
Seafood:
13. Talapia
Let's be honest here, I have never tried to eat this or even cook it...but it does sound like it would taste good if I was into fish.
14. Popcorn Shrimp
Never really tried it, but my sisters tell me it is to die for...good enough, right?
Tried this for the first time a couple years ago in Texas with my family, hands down the best food I ate that summer.
Hope you really do try and cook at least one of these, MOST of them I personally love. I am sure you'll fall in love with them just like I did. Again, there some of these I don't personally like, but my family certainly does. Don't be afraid to change things up a little by adding your spice on things...bon appetite!
