Even though we live completely separate lives and have plenty of our own friends, we always end up waiting for the other person to come back from that separate life. It can be weird at first, hearing about all of these other people and trying to keep up, but eventually you’ll find yourself asking about her other friend’s second cousin’s dog, and all will be right with the world.
