SOS! The Rainbow Bagel Store Is Closed

SOUND THE ALARM.

Remember that video we all saw on Facebook two weeks ago? The one that showed how The Bagel Store in Williamsburg makes their now famous Rainbow Bagel?

Here it is incase you forgot:

Of course, you did. It was beautiful and even people outside of New York City got to witness the ethereal combination of pretty colors, a bagel, and Funfetti cream cheese all in one. *heart eyes*

But as quickly as we messaged the group chat the make a trip to Brooklyn, we were hit with devastating news.

The Bagel Store is closed!!!!!

Only for renovations, but still. And of course these renovations are to make room for the hoards of people coming to the store after the video went viral. This is an absolute tragedy to hit New York.

The store owner did not give a time line for how long we have to wait to experience this beautiful creation.

How long will the people of Instagram wait to get a pic of this rainbow bagel to show their friends they do cool trendy things??? We can't wait all year, it'll run too close to when everyone in New York is posting their pics from Gov Ball and Smorgasburg. We can't let our Instagram followers suffer through all of that at one.

Well for now all we can do is wait and stare at our social media till it tells us where to eat next.
