You spend the entire summer beyond bored just waiting for classes to start up again.
FINALLY! The day is here and everyone begins returning to campus. Months apart have really seemed like a century.
Everyone is in full swing and is back to their usual shenanigans that went on freshman year.
Suddenly FDOC sneaks up on you and you realize you are the only one in the class who forgot to buy the required textbooks.
Even though it has only been a few weeks back, you're already swamped with a ridiculous workload and you wonder why you wanted to return so badly.
Then you realize that you survived last year and everyone has to deal with pulling a few all nighters every now and then.
And finally the weekend rolls around and nothing else matters.
And all of your worries about tests and grades are temporarily washed away.
And then you realize that the night has gone on for a little too long.
And not even your favorite bar will let you in. So maybe going home is the best decision.
The morning rolls along and all the problems about work and grades come back.
However, productivity is at a record low, so it'll have to wait until tomorrow.
Sunday rolls along. You realize you have done nothing productive all weekend and maybe all day at the library is the only solution.
You magically complete all the work that you put off and return home from the library before 2 a.m!
Once home, you reflect on your poor judgement and lack of work ethic and hope that next week will be different.
And this is the constant cycle that will remain of sophomore year. But getting through it with your best friends is all the really matters.
