I've decided that each month I am going to post an article of what I've been listening to. Here is October's list of Songs You Should Be Listening To Right Now!
1. She Keeps Me Warm- Mary Lambert
Did you know the chorus of Macklemore’s “Same Love” is song of its own? In this song, the beautiful and talented Mary Lambert tells the sweet story of new, pure love.

3. Why Georgia- John Mayer
When I listen to this song, I picture it playing as I was up late on a Sunday morning with lots of sunlight pouring through the windows.

4. There Will Be Time- Mumford & Sons
I just think it sounds beautiful. The mixture of voices and cultures is captivating and the passion for their music is displayed clearly by each artist involved. If you don't do anything else today, please watch the video linked below.

5. An Evening I Will Not Forget- Dermot Kennedy
Passionate and tragic. One person in the comments section of the music video for this song says: "The progression of the song and it's mood makes it very surreal."

6. Emmylou- Vance Joy
This songs makes you feel that strange happiness/sorrow mixture of emotion. "You are loved, you are loved, you are loved, you are loved,"

7. Second Chances- Gregory Alan Isakov
I never pick up those free iTunes downloads at Starbucks, but I’m glad I did this one time.

8. In a Week- Hozier ft. Karen Cowley
The most beautiful duet about love and death there ever was. I saw Hozier perform this song live when I was in my deepest bout of depression. It's morbid, romantic, and terrifying. How they make the process of death sound so lovely, I'll never understand.

9. Skinny Love- Bon Iver
The actual BEST break-up song, ever.

10. Blackbird- The Beatles
Because this song encourages me to keep going.

11. Sweet Disposition- The Temper Trap
If you’ve read “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” you will remember the word “infinite” being described as something you feel. To me, this song is what infinity feels like.
