1. "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran

This song is sung straight from Ed's heart. You can tell he means every single word he sings just by the way he sings them. Also, if you haven't heard this song...you need to do that...like now. It's such an amazing song, and it gets to me every time I hear it.

2. "1-800-273-8255" Logic

If you have heard this song and actually listened to the lyrics, you know exactly why its on this list. The name of the song is the suicide hotline number. Need I say more?

3. "HIM" Sam Smith

This song is about Sam's story. It's about his journey in life as a gay man, and the controversy that being gay brings. Awesome song.

4. "Love Song" Miranda Lambert

Love song is Miranda's definition of what love is and it's an extremely sweet song. It has always been a favorite of mine, and it is one of her best ones no doubt.

5. "Rise Up" Andra Day

This song will not only get you in your feels, but it will leave you with enough inspiration to conquer the world. Especially if you're going through things that have made you feel defeated. Do yourself a favor and bless your ears with this wonderful creation. Seriously though. Do it.

6. "Say You Won't Let Go" James Arthur

If you have ever been in a relationship that ended so badly you thought you were dying, or if you're in a relationship that if it were to end would make you feel like that, this song will stab your heart. Also one of my favorites.

7. "Too Good At Goodbyes" Sam Smith

Clearly Sam has been through some crap, because every song he sings gets you feeling some type of way. Too Good At Goodbyes is a very powerful song that will make you realize how important your heart is, and that it should not be given to just anybody.

8. "Simple Song" Chris Stapelton

This song is so pure. It's about how the simplicity of life can bring joy if you're looking at it from the right perspective. Really a great song by an amazing artist.

9. "Who You'd Be Today" Kenny Chesney

If you have ever lost a loved one who was lost way too young, this song is for you. It is so sad, but also sweet. When I listen to it I think of my Grandmama. Though she wasn't young when we lost her, I still find myself wondering what she would think of me now, and what she would be like. I like to listen to this one on the days that I miss her a little extra. WARNING: Don't listen to this if you don't want to cry. Just sayin!

10. "Love In The Dark" Adele

This song will tear you apart. Literally. Especially if you've been heartbroken by somebody and never really got over it. Adele stays on point when it comes to making you feel all the feels, and this song is a prime example as to why. One of my favorites!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
