I once told a group of people to start out small. Take any small opportunity that is given to you in that moment because someway and somehow... that one small opportunity that is handed to you may lead you to one of your biggest dreams. I'm going to speak in a professional stand point for a second. Some of us in this God forsaken world worry about the small and petty things in our lives rather than the big picture. But don't you ever think that everything that turns out big in our lives are set by the small things in life?
Well, to answer this, I do. Every big problem or event that occur to us are started out by the little things that we come across to. For instance, I am not big on grand gestures only because 1). I get easily embarrassed 2). I'm pretty low-maintenance and 3). I don't really care all that much for it. I care for the little kindness that sometimes I feel, I don't even deserve it.
Ever heard of "tiny, yet mighty?" That's what I always to someone who tends to degrade me in whatever way they can. As cliche as that sounds, I do believe in the larger things of life, but it's all about those tiny steps that we take to achieve it. That's what real determination is. I'm not saying to stand small at all, but learn to appreciate those things. We tend to miss that since we are so focused on the bigger picture. I don't know, maybe I'm lame like that to think so small. Take it or leave it, but learn to understand that perspective and adapt it to the world around you.
