Lets go on an adventure and imagine you are lost in those eyes. You know which ones I am talking about; those eyes you instantly thought of when you read the title. The eyes that stole your heart, and you can't rip your gaze away from. Losing track of anything that does or doesn't matter and for one moment, just getting lost. The best part is, those beauties belong to someone who means the world to you.
From the moment you first met, you fell in love with their eyes. From the first glance, that wasn't even a true glance, it was a gaze. A lasting, life changing gaze. Little did you know that moment would change the rest of your life forever. In one way or another, they imprinted on your life, and it will stay with you forever. Take a moment, and close your eyes, picture their eyes, and what they make you feel. Let that reminisce in your heart, and just hopefully, it will bring a smile to your face.
You could get lost in their eyes forever and not even think twice. You see the future, the past, and the present all by just gazing. We remember the moments of joy, love, and pain all by just a simple glance. We feel the inner monster banging at the core, screaming to be saved. Or is it just that feeling you get, the overwhelming consumption of utmost peace. Whatever may be the case, they still have imprinted. Whether it be from a positive experience or negative. When you see the pain or the joy or love, you will remember that.
We see a numerous amount of things in our lifetime. What makes eye contact leave such a grand impression? Maybe its something of feeling, or maybe its just emptiness. Who's to say they aren't putting on a performance. When really, its all just hatred and anger inside. Or maybe they are interested, and genuine and care. Who's is to say any of that about a person, other than their eyes? As humans we tend to mirror other people, but there is one quality you cannot copy, and that is what someone else's eyes say.
What set of eyes would you chose to gaze into the rest of your life? "Don't fall in love with someones looks, fall in love with their eyes. Because when you are old and wrinkly, the one thing that has not changed is their eyes". Eye contact is such a relevant courtesy in our lives today that sometimes we just go through the motions. We just look at their eyes out of respect. But why not take the time to admire them? Or even take the time to understand them? They are the door to someones soul, and yet we take them for granted each and every day. So go ahead and continue your day; just like every other day. But if you get the chance, take a minute and think about what someones eyes say to you.
