Are you going to have a job interview? An internship interview? Want to get employed? I've got some tips to help you nail your job interview!

1) Dress presentable!

Depending on the business, you may want to dress business casual. Just look nice in general and wear appropriate clothes! Such as office clothes like dress shoes, a skirt, a dress, a blouse, a dress top, slacks, button ups.

2) Bring an impressive resume!

Cater your resume and highlight qualities the employer would be interested in!

3) Arrive on time!

Don't be late! Always know where you have to meet with the employer, ahead of time. Also arrive 10-15 min early! People like punctuality!

4) Ask questions!

Be prepared to ask good questions when the employer asks you , "Do you have any questions?" Ex) How did you get started with this company? How do you start the job out strong? Are there any opportunities of advancement in this company?

5) Stay engaged!

Don't be afraid to look them in the eye and nod and smile! Don't zone out.

6) Research the company!

Look on their website and find out what the employer values and devalues. Find out what they are currently working on and their goals. Make it known you know what the company is into in your interview! ex) "I am interested in [project / program/ goal of company]. I find it very ____.

7) Rehearse your answers!

Think of possible questions the employer might ask you and think of clever answers!

8)Thank them for their time!
