Solid Sounds 99 was a great penultimate show to the 100th episode in the series. Albeit a short episode, Solid Sounds 99 was as solid as its other 98 predecessors. If you're unfamiliar, or are curious about how or where to tune into Solid Sounds I've got you covered. Solid Sounds is a weekly-produced podcast made by MC Flimz that airs each Saturday on 88.3 FM KXUA in Fayetteville. You can also check out the archive of past Solid Sounds episodes on MC Flimz's Soundcloud page. https://soundcloud.com/lesean05
The latest edition of Solid Sounds consisted of mostly Lo-fi music with a marvelous serenaded conclusion of Independent Rock.

The Podcast Rockets off thanks to Tiedye Ky's "White". Tiedye ky is a producer from Philadelphia, that has as of late named his songs after different colors from the color palette. All of Tiedye ky's music is incredibly relaxing to listen to. If you're into vlogging I'd recommend checking his work out and seeing if you're interested in acquiring some of his beats.
A smooth transition into Audio Dope's "All Right" subjects the listener to full Synthesized immersion. No, but seriously the next song's Synthesizer production quality is incredible. The rich sounds of Audio Dope never fail to surprise from one song to the next. If you've never heard of Audio Dope I'd recommend listening to his work.
The next song that shimmy's into your ears through cymbals is Birocratic's "Matlack". This song could be played every time I wake up in the morning for the next week and I wouldn't cease to enjoy it. You can't help but crack a small smirk or smile when you listen to Birocratic's music, and this song is no different. I really admire Birocratic's ability to keep his touch on the pulse of his fans and their tastes intuitively. Birocratic has been a must-listen artist for me for a long time.
The next song is titled "Kombucha Burps" by Jarreau Vandal. This song has an odd title, and an odd sound. The intro reminds me a lot of Big Wild's "Show Me" but Vandal has his own style that's immeasurably chill. The incorporation of Piano, Synth, Cymbal, Aery Female Vocals, and Vandal's ability to encapsulate you in the environment of his songs really creates an eclectic track that always has me nodding my head, or at the very least enjoying it on a day-to-day basis.
The next song that swoons most listeners is Verzache's "Losing My Love". This song is somewhat of a departure from Verzache's old work, but is a nice segmentation into what is no doubt a maturing artist refining his style and tone each song he creates. The song truly has a plethora of subjective meanings that really resonate with anyone who's ears happen to come across the song. Verzache is a producer I can see really expanding their listenership in 2018.
The final song is truly special to me. "Mermaid" by Stephen Kreussel is so much more than a song when I listen to it. The last song on Solid Sounds 99 is a journey with no destination. Serious subjects like exploration, mortality, legacy, and a plethora of other matters we wrestle with on an existential level are all there to be reckoned with and enjoyed in this song. Kreussel is from London, and his style in guitar and ambience is internationally recognizable. If there ever was a song to create the mood, and setting of a conclusion this would be the song for it.
Solid Sounds will be back on the air again Next Saturday from 10 to 11 p.m. To tune into this playlist's show you can go here https://soundcloud.com/lesean05/solid-sounds-episo...
