I have to change my clothes and fix my hair today because it’s not what’s on the latest blog. Even if I was comfortable, what does it matter? Beauty is pain, well that’s what our society teaches us anyway. We as people are supposed to be in a sense "up to date" with everything, and if we aren’t we’re just a little less than ordinary. Our society has made an invisible line based on standards that keep changing, so how are we to meet any of them? We base our goals by chasing an unachievable dream. Where are all the people who want to make their own standards based on what we really believe, not if they're accepted. But shouldn’t we be accepted based on who we are?
Our society promotes individuality, and encourages people to create rather than follow trends. It's makes us feel apart of something, like we have a sense of control in our society. Then ask yourself, who creates our trends? In my opinion, it's the same people, who have divided our nation in different social classes based on economic standing, gender and race. Everyone who is in power, are the only people who feel unbothered and without cause to change anything. The foundation (capitalism) our society requires an unbalanced in it to survive.
If everyone was rich and successful there would be equality. And as much as we want to have that within our society, that just might be the thing that tears us apart. Yes, everyone should have the same rights, however we all have to play different roles in our societies. Look at it this way, if there isn’t a manager, there would be no employees, hence no customers, each of these things affect each other. They rely on each other, so yes they each hold a different responsibility but without the other, the next can’t function. This doesn’t take away from our rights as individuals because everyone should be granted and respected all the same. But just like the manager, employee and customers, we need different social classes and different races. When everything is the same, there is no need for change.
Our society is corrupted into believing the way our social classes crumbles is without flaw. However, there is no diversity within it. With time we as people including the government and/or nation must change to comply with the development of the society. Throughout the American history, we've changed/created many laws to better the courts as a whole. I've come to the conclusion that we are stagnant on a downhill slope. Therefore we should look to the people in power, and maybe consider recreating our leadership team as a society
