"I'm so done."
This term is frequently used in modern society. This is especially true for the teenage population. Teens are "so done" with about everything from their grades to other people nowadays.
Does this have something to do with our impatient tendencies? Is there a group at school or a teacher that get on your nerves? What if you could ease that unrest by reading some truth? In Ephesians chapter 4, Paul tells us to "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love." He tells us to bear one another in love! Even that teacher you can't seem to impress or those girls who talked about you behind your back deserve to be loved. You're all brothers and sisters in the eyes of Christ!
Our God watches everyone of us fall to sin every single day. He watches us walk away from him but is right there when we need him again no matter how long it takes. He hasn't given up on us though! He never will because of his great patience and grace. He knows people make mistakes, but he sees past that and looks at us through perfect eyes.
What if we could have such grace towards the people around us? The more positive relationships we have with the people around us, the more God can shine his light through us.
We should eliminate the term "I'm so done" and turn it around. We should say something like "I'm so ready". You can say, "I'm so ready to have a good day," or "I'm so ready to love others," instead of the depressing phrase "I'm so done". Who wants to be sad? Let's get happy and love others because Christ loves us so much more!!!
