Ah Yes! Freshman year a time where you can explore the world with your new found freedom. I am halfway through my Freshman year and so far it has had its up and downs! But there are many I have learned so far and I can not wait to learn more things!
1. 8 am classes are not as bad as they seem.
Well, I am a morning person so this may be different for some but,really they are not that bad! So wake up sleepy head!
2. Cafeteria food does not improve as much from high school.
It will be like food heaven at first, but then it will the same thing forever! And keep in mind its not gourmet food. But, taco night, chicken nuggets, and fried chicken days are awesome!
3. You will not stick with your orientation friends.
4. You will not keep your room as clean as you anticipated!
So much random paper and taco bell wrappers! Like how in the world?!
5. You will absolutely HATE those corny icebreaker activities!
I do not want to meet new people!
6. You WILL walk into the wrong class.
Hey, it happens.
7. You will miss your Mom and Dad the days or weeks.
But, trust me you CAN do your laundry!
8. Your first friend will be your roommate.
So congrats you made your friend! And one that will last a lifetime.
9. You will see WAY TO MUCH PDA.
Get a room you crazy kids! Eww Love! says the single person!
10. You will have that one hard professor!
Excuse me for not turning something in because the printer is broken.
11. You will fail the first test.
It will be hard but, you will get better at it trust me! And, everyone does bad on their test.
12. Your budget will have the infamous college student budget!
You will have a helpfull budget of zero!
13. Over time you will have the BEST squad on campus.
Trust me you will have a GOOD group of friends! Yall will go on so many adventures!
14. Campus activities are fun!
Who knew inflatable obstacle courses are fun?
15. You know you want to join that club!
16. You have more time than you think!
So, manage it well.
17. You will make friends, just be patient!
Everyone is a little nervous! People will warm up to you.
18. You might change your major.
But, in the end you made the right desicion! So, if you feel the need to do it. Plus, you have time to think about when you are doing your general education classes.
19. While at college it will grow and shape you!
You will not be the same person you were when you walked in. You will discover new things about yourself and become a new person. It will be an amazing transformation.
20. Things will get harder but, remember why you're there.
Keep in mind your hard work and late night studying will be worth it in the end! B's get degrees!
