On Thursday, Jan. 14, actor Alan Rickman passed away after a battle with cancer. A wonderful actor, Alan Rickman was probably best known for his portrayal of Severus Snape in the "Harry Potter" series, an amazing and complex character he portrayed perfectly. Movie stars and fans alike have been online, sharing both condolences and memories of the great actor. As my tribute to this man's legacy, I would like to share my favorite moments that Rickman brought to life through one of my favorite characters: Severus Snape.

1. Snape's infinite sassy moments.

2. When he protected Harry, Ron, and Hermione from the werewolf.

3. All the times he smacked Ron.

4. "Page 394."

5. Being interrogated by Umbridge.

6. When he doesn't want to fight.

7. When he broke our hearts.

8. When he showed his love.

9. The prince's tale.

10. Always.


Rest in peace, Alan Rickman.
