Growing up in a house full of girls is something else. I mean I have nothing else to compare it to, but sisters are the best. They are your built in best friends and always there for you no matter what. My sisters have helped shape my life and made me the person I am today. Being a middle child has given me so many of the personality traits I have. I am easy going because being towed either way between older and younger sisters and have been a peace keeper and best friend.
1. They are always there.
Literally you can't get away from them, and this seems like such a problem until you move out and miss having them around all the time. No one to constantly watch Netflix with, no one to drive your parents crazy with, and no one to come wake you up in the middle of the night just because. They also always have your back no matter how far away they live which is pretty cool.
2. Anything can be fun.
Since you spend so much time with them, you have to get creative with activities. Long car rides, vacations, and lazy summer days can be so much more fun with a sister by your side.
3. They have to do stuff with you.
No other friend is forced to hang out with you 24/7 like your sisters are. They can annoy you, get on your nerves, and make you laugh until it hurts (at the stupidest things). Mom says to clean the house, guess who gets to help you do it, movie nights with friends, little sister gets to tag along, they are a built in best friend who can make the awkwardest family reunions someone enjoyable with their company.
4. Interesting fights.
Spending som much time together leads to interesting arguments. We all get sick of our sibling and after so long fights can be picked over the most random topics. The best part is that they always have to forgive you because your parents make you!
5. Always a scapegoat.
No matter what the situation there is always a sister to blame, you didn't leave the curling iron on, that was definitely her.
6. Getting back at the other sister together.
Revenge is best served in pairs and having a sister as partner in crime can lead to some great sibling pranks and rivalries.
7. They are always a room or phone call away.
No matter what the occasion I know I can always call my sisters for great advice, a pick me up or a long conversation about nothing and it mean the most. They know you better than anyone else because you practically live the same lives and wear the same clothes.
