8 Rules My Sister's First Boyfriend Must Follow
boyfriend

To My Sisters First Boyfriend,

Before I welcome you into the family, I need to lay down the rules. I'm not sure how old my sister will be when she first meets you but I want to give you some advice. Not only is it my sister but I have had much experience when it comes to relationships. Even though it's my sister every girl or guy needs to be treated right. So to my sister's first boyfriend here's some things you need to remember

1. Her Heart is not a toy

My sisters are beautiful, strong, and talented. But there are some points where they are fragile. When my sisters love someone they love with all of their heart. NEVER take it for granted because you'll never meet someone as amazing as them.

2. No Means No

if she is not okay with doing something or tells you no. Then that means no, do not pressure her into doing something. If you really respect her boundaries then respect that she said no.

3. Make her laugh

One of the most important things in a relationship is being comfortable with another and being able to laugh with another. Making her laugh is very important. Be the reasons she smiles not cries.

4. Hold her when it gets tough

Life can be hard, and there are moments when life can be just too much. Be there for her no matter what time it is, wipe away her tears and hold her. That will mean the most to her, and she will always be there for you.

5. Be respectful to her Family

One of the most attractive things is when a guy gets along with the family. Be respectful and curious to her family, that earns you many brownie points with her and the rest of the family.

6. Reminder her how beautiful she is

A lot of girls are insecure about their looks, remind her how beautiful she is to you. Even if she doesn't believe you remind her that in your eyes she is the most beautiful thing you have ever seen.

7. Support her

No matter if she's a Band kid, in Choir, does Sports or etc. support her in anything she does! Being there for her to cheer her on or support her would mean a lot to her.

8. Love her

The most important thing I can tell you is to love her. Love her for her sense of humor, her smile, her jokes, her laugh and most importantly, love her for who she is.

Follow my advice for goodness sakes, my sisters are differently one of a kind you would not want to mess it up. And if you hurt them, you will regret it. Treasure her, and treasure her heart don't break it. please.

To my little sisters, the first guy you start dating will show up unexpectedly (Trust me) and you will go through many relationships until you find the right one for you to settle down with. The first relationship you will be in will defiantly be memorable. Remember to be yourself and follow your heart and don't let the person you're with make you feel as if your not good enough.

Other than that, I am always a phone call away and I am here for any advice you would need. I love you both with all of my heart.

And to my sister's first boyfriend... Good luck and may the odds be ever in your favor.

Sincerely, The Big Sister

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
