1. Hike... a lot

I live in Colorado and for someone who has the mountains roughly 30 minutes away from them, I have only been on one hike in my entire life. This summer, I plan to hike a lot more than that because not only is it beautiful outside, but it is good for you.

2. Concerts

I decided about a month ago that I could lose my hearing tomorrow and I would regret not going to all the amazing concerts the summer has to offer. So my decisions are Justin Bieber at Sports Authority field, John Mayer, and a rave that I still haven't decided on yet. The rave I only really want to go to because of the cute outfits I can have with my friends.

3. Date whoever at any moment

Sometimes when a random guy in the mall asks you to sit down because you're pretty, you have to say yes. I mean, who could say no to a good pair of blue eyes?

4. Catch up with childhood friends

There are maybe only a handful of people I have stayed in contact with but the ones I have, need a little extra love. Summer is the perfect time for that. Maybe I will even throw in a hand written personal letter, too.

5. Binge a Netflix series

A friend of mine inspired me and it is one of those things I feel like you need to do once in your life.

6. Do a feel good photo shoot

A friend of mine convinced me to do this so I thought I would give it a shot. Who knows, it might be nice to get a picture of me without a bun in my hair.

7. De-clutter your life

For me, it is going through all of those prom and homecoming dresses from high school, time for real clothes.

8. Try something new.

Last year I conquered the water by wake boarding and this year I plan to conquer the land by long boarding.

9. Go somewhere new

My parents are strange and don't ever want to leave the country so I convinced them to plan a trip to a place where I have never been before. Texas, Louisiana, and Tennessee, here I come.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
