There is a very brief moment when you first wake up. You don’t think of anything. You don’t have any memories. It is a new day, an entirely new, blank slate.
Little moments like these are often overlooked and the happiness that these moments bring us is often not recognized. We should be recognizing the small things that make our souls happy. We should start fueling our lives with very simple, pure bliss.
Here is a list of some very simple things that make us happy, even if it is subconsciously, on a daily basis.
1. Taking your work clothes off, and changing into sweatpants
2. Fresh bed sheets

34. Ice cold lemonade (only because I really, really, really, want lemonade at this exact second that I’m writing this.)
35. Double spacing an essay after you type it only to notice that you just met the exact page requirements
