15 Signs You Are In The Colorguard

We are the section of the band that is unlike any other. We don't play any instruments, yet have the privilege of calling ourselves "band geeks." We add color and fun to marching shows. If it wasn't for us, marching band wouldn't be same. We are the color guard.

1. We do not twirl flags, WE SPIN THEM!


2. The bond a color guard has is one unlike any other. Your guard is like your second family.

3. When you hear a song, you immediately start making choreography for it.

4. Your heart stops every time as you wait to catch a toss.

5. You can rock any color guard uniform.

6. And we also know how to do hair.

7. And makeup.

8. We are just all-around fabulous, no matter what.

9. When you pass through the band, you try not to take anyone out with your flag.

10. We always have great facial expressions.

11. When your band director tells you to go back to a certain measure, you have no idea where to go.

12. This is called guard tape, not electrical tape.

14. Color guard is a sport.
