You probably already know if you are destined to be an old cat lady. Heck you are a cat lady now. But in case you want a few reasons to prove you are a cat lady, then here you go.
1. All you ever think about are cats
Cats, cats, and more cats, nothing is more important than cats, so everything relates back to them.
2. You constantly look for new cat videos on youtube
Your friends will share a cat video with you… but chances are you have already seen it because you are constantly online watching the latest cat videos.
3. Your social media is plagued with pictures of cats
Whether you are the one posting all the pictures of cats, or your followers, or your explore page. Everywhere you look all you see it cats, and you are totally ok with that.
4. At least half of your clothes have cats on them
From cat undergarments, to cat sweaters, to even a cat blouse, you’ve got it all. You were them on the daily, and you are not ashamed… your friends may be though.
5. Every time you see a cat you want to hug it and squeeze it and love it forever
You cannot control your urge to pet and love a cat whenever you see one, whether it is yours, a stray, or a friends. You probably actually visit your friend’s apartment just to see their cat.
6. Every cat is the cutest cat you’ve ever seen
Every cat is simply the cutest. You love them all and you could never pick which cat is the cutest because they are all just so stinkin cute.
7. You compare your human relationships to your cat relationships
You love your cats, you spend all of your time with them. You laugh with them, cry with them, force them to love you, and you play with them. If your relationship with a human does not bring you as much joy or comfort you simply drop the human and happily go back to your cat whom you know can never leave you.
8. You stop talking to someone if they hate cats
It is not acceptable for a future spouse or even a friend to hate cats. You plan on owning a zoo full of cats so you need someone who is on board and will accept you anyways.
If you love cats like me you know all of these to be true. Cats are life and life is cats. You never go a day without thinking of cats. They are your spirit animal and your favorite things about this world. If you are a cat lady like me, even if you do not want to admit it, this one’s for you.
