As I watch "FRIENDS" over and over again, I admire Phoebe Buffay for quite possibly being the best friend out there. She's the weirdest, but the most lovable friend. She carries many valuable qualities and habits, and who knows? Maybe you’re the actually the Phoebe in your friend group.

If you’re the Pheobe in your friend group, you’re charming, witty, and never afraid to speak your mind.

You can come up with quick one-liners that make your friends laugh out loud. Your humor is just another part of her that truly separates her from the rest of the group. (Sure, Chandler is sarcastic, and Joey is just plain funny, but no one truly has Phoebe’s dry and honest humor.) You are so blunt, and at the same time, sympathetic. You know what needs to be said in any situation, even if it means telling someone what they don’t want to hear, and hurting their feelings. But you ALWAYS have good intentions.

You seem to always be the voice of reason among your friends.

You aren’t afraid to listen to both sides of an argument, but you know when enough is enough. You don’t choose sides either. You’re very fair when it comes to fighting among the group. You're a great listener, and you give great advice. You find that you're the one that your friends often come too when they need to vent, or need encouragement or some advice.

You really could care less about what others think about you, because why should anyone’s opinion of you stop you from doing what you want? Who cares what someone else thinks? If it makes you happy, and you truly want to do something, just do it! You're different than others because you don't mind standing out from the norm, in fact, you love to be a little different here and there. You're confident and never afraid to go out on a limb. You encourage your friends to be this way too!

Phoebe has the most positive-vibe spirit in the world.

You are always searching for the silver lining. You are always looking on the bright side of things and making sure your friends are doing the same thing. You are encouraging and helpful, and always there for your friends (cause they’re there for you too…).

Here’s to Princess Consuela Banana-hammock. Thanks for teaching us what it means to be a great friend. And, hey, I’m not saying you have to think your mother is reincarnated into a cat in order to be Pheobe, or play music in a coffee shop, but just by being a great friend, and looking out for your others, you might just be the Phoebe Buffay of your friend group.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
