23 Signs You Might Be A Neat Freak

Wanting to keep things organized is a good thing; it means you have a sense of appreciation for the prettier things in life. We neat freaks have a keen eye for making sure everything is neatly in its place. Although we can be a bit much at times, people come to love our ability to keep things straight. However, keep in mind that neat freaks and clean freak are different things. We neat freaks don't always clean-we organize.

If you think you might be part of the neat freak club, read on...

1. You make up your bed every day. And sometimes, you probably sleep on top of your bed just so that you can quickly make it look tidy in the morning

2. You probably love the Home decor section of Pinterest

3. You fold up blankets after you use them and fix the pillows on the couch

4. You keep your desk fairly neat and organized

5. That being said, you put up books you don't need and always clean up your desk after you use it to do work

6. You have a knack for organizing things. No, you love organizing things.

7. You probably like to decorate things as well. This includes anything from your bedroom, to your coffee table, to painting anything that needs a splash of color

8. You're pretty good at hiding things to make your room *look* neat and tidy

9. Disheveled things bother you

10. You put up your laundry right after you wash it because you don't like seeing it sitting around

11. Tables full of clutter make you cringe

12. Dirty dishes sitting out bother you a lot. But sometimes, not enough to wash them

13. You move things around on tables (sometimes not your own) often to make them look neat

14. If you open up a drawer to see your clothes not folded nicely, you're going to be a little flustered

15. Your day planner has everything for the next week all written out and possibly color coded

16. Do you turn off lights and unplug everything right when you finish using them? Yep, me too

17. A pile of clothes on the floor is your worst nightmare

18. Chipped nail polish bothers you a lot more than it should

19. Opening the fridge to a mostly empty bottle of Diet Coke makes you want to scream

20. You throw away your trash right when you finish with it rather than laying it on the nearest table. Who likes clutter? Not us

21. You try to advise your friends to pick up on your neat habits

22. You don't understand how people can live in such messy rooms and you now come to appreciate all of the times your mother told you as a child to "clean your room"

23. Lastly, you don't enjoy cleaning but rather simply like organizing things to make them look neat. If cleaning is necessary to do so, then you'll do it. But if you can find a way to make the room look nice without sweeping the floor, why bother? Right?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
