We've all caught the feels at one time or another. One day you are living your life, and the next thing you know, everything comes to a grinding halt. You meet a new person, and this person is different from the rest. Being around this person is amazing and yet you feel nauseous and nervous all the time. Getting a crush is completely out of your control, and whether or not you like it, catching The Feels means your life is going to change. The following is a list of signs that you've caught The Feels!

1. You feel happier around the person.

2. You look at them … and lose all logical brain function.

3. Your brain and mouth disconnect when you talk to them.

The word vomit. I didn't mean to say it, but...

4. You overanalyze everything the person says and does.

5. You overthink every text. Is a winky face too much? Maybe I should only write “hahaha,” because “hahahaha” seems like I’m trying too hard.

6. You relive past conversations … and wish you weren’t such a dork.

7. Your heart starts racing when you see them/think about them.

8. You start mentioning them way too much in conversation, even when it is completely irrelevant.

9. You smile and laugh at everything they say.

10. You feel like a little kid again.

11. You start comparing everyone else to that person.

12. Everything they do and say seems charmingly irresistible.

13. You start asking your friends what they think of the person, and are desperate for their stamp of approval.

14. You fantasize about possible future encounters with the person, and plan out all the hilarious, intelligent, and fascinating things you could say the next time you meet.

15. You ask around to find out more about the person.

16. You stalk them on social media.

17. You try extra hard to make them laugh and/or smile when you talk to them.

18. Your emotions are haywire and you wonder if the person feels as wound up as you are.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
