Being a college student, you find out very quickly that you're broke and have no source of income. Other than begging your parents for money and finding quarters on the group in the Walmart parking lot, cash money is hard to come by. When it comes to purchasing things and getting food, you quickly decide what is necessary and what can wait another week before you finally have to break down and buy it.
1. $4 for a tube of toothpaste?
I think I can squeeze another week's worth out of the one I have now before I actually need a new one.
2. When you're looking for places to eat on Yelp, you look for the one $ sign.
$$? Ain't nobody got time for that. Why is $$$$ even an option?
3. You'll do almost anything for money.
Keyword: almost.
4. You use a student discount to your every advantage.
5. Anytime a free meal is offered, you're there.
6. Anytime you go home, you get your parents to fill up your car and buy you groceries.
7. How many meals in a row have I eaten in the caf?
How has it managed to not kill me yet?
8. You get water to drink everywhere you go.
Because Lord knows you can't afford the two extra dollars for tea or Coke.
9. The only takeout box you know is takeout from the caf.
10. When you see something you really like but you don't have the money for, you tell yourself you don't need it.
I don't neeeeed it, I don't neeeeed it!
