When you're young, hanging out with your sibling seems more like a chore than a choice. We've all had those traumatic sibling encounters where you look back and say, "I can't believe we did that." However, as you get older, you realize that no one will have your back like your sibling.

Here are a few reasons why your sibling should always be your soul-person:

1. The brutal honesty.

No one will tell you like it is more than your sibling. Even if it hurts your feelings, it's better they tell you than someone else.

2. The family loyalty.

My brother has always been the first person to lift up my spirits on a bad day. You and your sibling may tease each other like we do, but NO ONE will ever have your back like family does.

3. You have the same memories/upbringing.

Growing up together, you and your sibling will most definitely have most early memories together. Whether it is a funny, sad, or embarrassing moment, you two will forever have that bond!

4. They've already seen your "dark side."

A sibling is most definitely a person who has seen a side of you that is completely unfiltered. Through the melt downs, breakups, etc., nothing will scare them away.

5. They are the perfect person to annoy.

Annoy away, because in reality they can never truly escape you! The evil plan is clearly working.

6. No matter what happens, you will always love them.

The latest fight may be apocalyptic, but the love will always be there! A bond connected with literal DNA is pretty damn strong.

Anyone out there with a sibling will without a doubt understand these! Of course, there are plenty more reasons as well. Even through the worst days, the sibling bond will still shine through. They will be "your person" forever. Share with your sibling if you can relate or just need a good laugh!

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
