I've got it bad.

I love television shows. For me they are an escape, a way to live vicariously in fantastic worlds and situations I could never experience in the real world. I love almost every TV shows I have invested time in watching. They are amazing works of art, brilliant fusions of illusion and reality with a touch of magic.

But sometimes, a show (or four) comes along that gets under my skin, and not necessarily in a good way. I hate some shows. Hate them. Hate.

But I LOVE to hate them! I never ever want to watch them, but when I finally turn on an episode I can't stop and I love to bash the characters for the entire episode and just generally complain about every aspect. Here's a brief description of each one, and why I love/hate them!

1. Last Man On Earth

This show is about a guy who wakes up one day to find himself the very last man on earth. He travels around America doing whatever he pleases until one day he stumbles upon something that changes everything.

This guy's name is Phil Miller. I hate Phil. He is a whiny moron who is such horrible person. Everything he does irritates me. Even his face is stupid. Look at it. Look at his psycho face.

But at the same time, this show is so good! It's creative, well written, and the cliffhangers are killer. Even the character development got really good. I keep watching. You should watch it too.

2. It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia

This crazy show has been on for 12 seasons, and it's insane. The characters are all terrible people with absolutely no redeeming qualities and more than borderline sociopathic tendencies. They are creepy, selfish, trash people.

But they are hilarious. The trouble they get into is so ridiculous, and their plans to fix the situations are even more unbelievable. I shake my head at how stupid it is, but I can't help binge watching this show whenever it is on. Worth the watch!

3. The Mick

The Mick is the newest show I'm watching. Although technically I'm not watching it, since I protest every time my husband turns it on. What I do is secretly watch it over his shoulder and laugh quietly to myself when I'm supposed to be studying, or asleep. Mickey is a terrible aunt who unexpectedly becomes the guardian of her sister's children. This is definitely one woman who should never, ever be allowed to be left alone with children, much less be put in charge of their daily welfare.

This show has me hooked, and I love to shake my head at Mickey and gasp over the daily danger she subjects the kids to, while simultaneously complaining about how much danger she puts the kids in.

4. The Office

This show... this show... People have many strong feelings about this show, either love or hate. I can't decide if it even belongs on my list because I can't decide if I love it, hate it, or love to hate it. I think mostly I just hate it. I despise Michael and Dwight, the manager and assistant paper of a paper supply company, who run their office with incredible incompetence. Daily harassment, lies, errors, and embarrassing situations plague the office. Pam, the receptionist is the shows only saving grace, and even she always looks like she wants to die.

And so do I when I watch this show. But I do it anyway.

What about you? Do you have any love/hate relationships like I do? Drop me your story in the comments! And check out these shows so we can love/hate them together!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
