Although some might not care for lists, I personally enjoy them because of all the wonderful memories they bring up for me. If you have a moment to spare feel free to look down below and take a trip down memory lane and remind yourself of some of the 1980's shows that made everyone laugh their butts off.

1. The Golden Girls

Ahh, The Golden Girls. Before there was Sex And The City, and Girls the world was introduced to Dorothy, Rose, Blanche and Sophia as they danced their way into our hearts. A sitcom about four previously married women living together, The Golden Girls taught viewers that getting old is nothing to be ashamed of and how to get a hot date in no time at all. If you are someone who has watched the series 100 times over or have never seen an episode Bea Arthur, Rue McClanahan, Estelle Getty and Betty White will never fail to make you laugh and teach you what it means to be a friend.

2.Cheers

Probably one of my favorite shows of all time Cheers is the place you wanna be if you're looking for witty banter and tips on how to pick up babes so you can add them to that little black book of yours. Some may say that when you go to a bar and everyone knows your name you might have a drinking problem but if your bar of choice is Cheers that just means you're there for a good time. Speaking of good times no one knows how to provide them like former Red Sox relief pitcher turned bar owner Sam Malone. Played by the always dashing Ted Danson, Sam along with Carla, Coach, Dianne, Cliff, Norm and the rest of the gang are never burdened with boringness as long as they have each other and a pitcher of beer by their side. If thats not enough to convince you of it's worthiness this uber-successful comedy spawned a beloved spinoff called Frasier that lasted 11 seasons which is exactly how long it's predecessor lasted as well.

Side Note: WATCH THIS SHOW. I BEG YOU. CHEERS IS A GIFT FROM GOD. NO JOKE. AMEN FOR TED DANSON. I LOVE TED DANSON. THEN, NOW AND FOREVER. I'M NOT JOKING. TED DANSON RULES.

3. Threes Company

Unfortunately John Ritter is no longer around to make comedy history anymore so the next best thing is to watch everything he left behind for us. Among those things are the 8 seasons of the hit comedy Threes Company. The show follows two women and a man who share an apartment together. Now, to some that may not sound funny and just a bit weird but once you see Jack Tripper try to pick up women for the first time you'll be laughing hysterically and kind of hoping he would just pop out of that screen and try a pick up line on you. If that's not enough Suzanne Somers plays the wonderful but ditzy Chrissy Snow who is always there to put a pep in our step even if we don't want it and Joyce DeWitt plays the uptight but lovable Janet Wood who provides common sense when something is going very wrong.

4. 21 Jump Street

21 Jump street, a T.V. show? You heard me. For those who loved the two films starring Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill i'm more than thrilled to tell you that they were indeed inspired by the late 80's crime, mystery and drama T.V. show. Starring a swoon worthy Johnny Depp, the show is about a group of young-looking police officers who work at a precinct known as 21 Jump Street. They go undercover as high school students in different schools shutting down crime like nobody's business. Although not a comedy, I definitely love this show because of its well written lines and dry humor. Plus it doesn't hurt that Mr. Depp plays an amazing Officer Tom Hanson.

5. The Cosby Show

Okay okay, I know that Bill Cosby turned out to be a total sleezebag but does that have to mean Dr. Cliff Huxtable is just as gruesome? Of course not! From it's first episode to its last, Cliff, Clair and the rest of the family were on every T.V., in every household from 1984 to 1992. A show about an upper-class African American family, the Cosby show taught millions of viewers about dedication and the work you have to put in in order to be successful. It also elegantly taught it's viewers about important problems that needed to be spoken about such as teen pregnancy and drug abuse. The Cosby Show single handedly helped sitcoms rise in popularity again after NBC saw their ratings go up. It spawned a spin-off called A Different World as well that will be sure to make you laugh every time.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
